Catherine Turner is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and Financial Advisor. Catherine’s area of expertise encompasses a range of disciplines: Retirement Planning for individuals and small business owners, Investment Strategy & Asset Management, Income Distribution Planning, Tax Planning, Social Security and Medicare benefits, College Planning, and Estate Planning.
Catherine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Florida International University, graduating from the School of Accounting. After several years of practicing managerial accounting as a Comptroller in Florida, she spread her talents into marketing and eventually landed in the financial services field. Catherine completed her graduate course studies in Financial Planning and Services through The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA. This allowed her to obtain the most recognized credential in her field. She also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® designation.
harship Working as a Wealth Advisor, Catherine welcomes the chance to help families evaluate the opportunities, personal costs and trade-offs of one’s lifestyle/money choices. Catherine’s dedication to those she serves can be noted in the sensitive and personal areas she is able to work with clients on: legacy planning, instant widowhood, as well as the importance of long-term goal planning when one finds themselves the recipient of sudden wealth.
Catherine’s natural tendency to be an advocate for the people can be witnessed with her determination to advance clean investment education and financial literacy with no sales-tactics or bias. Since 2002 Catherine has lead retirement symposiums at metro-Atlanta’s corporate headquarters and Adult Education programs. She is a member of The Financial Planning Association, the CFP Board, the Marietta Business Association and the Estate Planning Counsel of North Georgia. Profits of Navigational Wealth Planning, Inc. are shared to support the Atlanta Mission Organization which seeks to transform the lives of those facing hardship and homelessness. Catherine and her husband worship and serve in ministry at Mars Hill Community Church.
